Welcome to the 1st Annual Thank You Ocean Photography Contest. California's ocean is an important part of our environment and economy and we are excited to launch this contest in celebration of World Oceans Day on June 8, 2010. By capturing California's ocean in all of its splendor, our hope is that these images will inspire stewardship and foster continuing awareness of how important our ocean is to our health and happiness.
This contest is open to all levels of photographic enthusiasts. We encourage you to participate by submitting your original California ocean and coastal photograph by clicking on "post photo" link above. Please note that there is a limit of 5 submissions per person.
Not a photographer? You can also participate by rating photos submitted by others. Click on the thumbnails of your favorite images below to cast your vote! You can rate as many photos as you like but note that there is a limit of one vote per image per person.
