The California Ocean Communicators Alliance is a group of over 200 communications professionals in ocean-related organizations, agencies and businesses who are working together “creating a strong voice for the ocean in California.” Organized in April 2005 by NOAA National Marine Sanctuary Program, California Resources Agency and aquarium partners, the California Ocean Communicators Alliance has met through three workshops to collaborate on common messaging and the development of the California Public Awareness Campaign, “Thank You Ocean.” For more detailed information on the California Ocean Communicators Alliance, read our summary sheet and visit Ocean Communicator Alliance members’ websites!
